Telepresence World 2007 First Impressions (Day 0)

The Lab has arrived in full force to the beautiful University of San Diego campus for Telepresence World 2007. The scene is of controlled disorder; everyone is quietly gathering together their displays in hopes of impressing their fellow telepresence comrades. Everything we have seen is very impressive, unfortunately we can't talk about it quite yet due to some NDAs. In many ways, this conference is the coming out party for an industry. With each successive post the Lab distributes from this conference, you should start to see the future of immersive collaboration before your very eyes. Some very exciting and interesting technologies will be highlighted along with some of our very own announcement (just check the next post).

The schedule tomorrow is hectic to say the least. These conferences generally come out of the gate with furry and tapper off as they go. We will try and keep you glued for the duration though. Look for many in-depth breakdowns of each company's keynote address. We are also happy to welcome our co-conspirators over at Technology Evangelist who helping us.
