We are currently looking for:


Test Engineer


Design and maintain an IP Test Network for the Review of Telepresence and Visual Collaboration Endpoints and SOHO Networking


Job Posted: October 8th 2007


Job Requirements:


-Good Comprehension of TCP/IP, Networking, H.264, SIP, H.323, and other appropriate networking and visual communications protocols and technologies.
-Excellent writing skills and basic HTML skills (knowledge of tags)
-Familiarity with Movable Type or CMS platforms in general is a plus


What You Would Test:


-Telepresence and Visual Collaboration End-points
-SOHO Networking Applications
-Productivity Applications


The Test Engineer will be responsible for:


-Setting up and maintaining the Lab's production network environment including: Multiple PCs and Laptop computers, SOHO Wi-fi Network, Print Server, NAS, Multiple Networks (3 x T1 MASERGY Network, Verizon FiOS) Telepresence and VTC Endpoints
-Setting up and maintaining the Lab's test network including:
-Designing and conducting tests on telepresence and visual collaboration systems and SOHO networking and productivity applications.
-Reporting on the results and publishing the results to the Lab's website and to the Lab's Telepresence Options website in a semi-templated review format.


This Position is Part-Time initially: 10-15 hour per month.


Compensation: Commiserate with experience.
