We are currently looking for: 

Managing Editor – Telepresence Options

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both print/on-line publishing and telepresence and effective visual collaboration.  The candidate’s knowledge base should encompass: telepresence environments, videoconferencing endpoints, codecs, and network infrastructure.  Knowledge of telepresence/videoconferencing managed services, inter-networking, and exchange.

The candidate will be able to managed multiple websites on both Movable Type and WordPress self-publishing platforms and a subscription management system built on Salesforce.com.

The Editor will be responsible for tracking the news and developments of the telepresence and videoconferencing industry on a daily basis and be responsible for writing 3-4 articles per week on the important developments of the industry plus longer feature articles for Telepresence Options publications that can be written over several weeks time.

The editor will supervise three part-time contractors in graphic design, website maintenance, and site upkeep and an outside agency.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to represent the publication to the media, sponsors, advertisers and grow the new print publication, Telepresence Options Magazine, as measured in new subscribers and advertisers.
